Countdown Over

so its that time finally.. the boxes are packed and we get the U-haul at 7am... WE ARE MOVING!!!

Even with all the ups and downs and the turbulent roller coaster ride we've been on with the certified morons that tried to buy the Van Buren house (but fell thru at the last minute-retards!), we're still moving on with the Shadow Lake house! We're all excited and can't wait to move in!! (6 days, 14 hrs, 6 min .. but who's counting?? LOL) Everything is packed (except daily living basics) and ready to go .. now all that's left is pacing the floors until the last minute stuff can be thrown into boxes and we can head off to the lake in the UHaul. Taylor was so awesome getting so much done before he had to go on his 2-weeks of travel! He didn't leave much left for me to do at all, just a little odds-and-ends stuff. We can't wait until he comes home so we can all pace the floor together this weekend, counting down the hours until we can move into our dream home!!!

DC Sunset

So I am in Washington DC this week. My first time to the area. Its a horrible time for me to be travelling as we are trying to get a million things lined out trying to sell and buy a house. I hope I havent left too much at home to be done by Angela. I feel horrible that she is left there trying to get everything done with the retarded people that are trying to buy our house now. Today we went to the Washington mall after class and here is a pic of the sunset.

So we have a few months of updates to catch up on .. here goes ...

The Metallica concert was AWESOME!! Avry and Chloe had a perfect first concert experience -- except for Avry wanting to pick fights with the people smoking "funny-smelling stuff" around us :O Chase and Dylan were able to crowd surf some, not as much as they wanted cause they actually had to come down a few times .. bummer.

Then Thanksgiving .. Von and Beth came down and hung out with the fam, played Dirt, watched Twilight and chilled. We had a great time and definitely stayed busy! It went by too fast and was definitely busy. Then we all spent Thanksgiving at Chance and Kara's (Price's first Thanksgiving!!), ate waaaaaaay too much and had fun relaxing and visiting with everyone there.

Then Kaylyn had 2 cheer competitions that we crammed in there somehow .. still not sure how we fit THAT in! In both comps, they took first place in their division as well as Grand Champs (Grand is highest score over all competing teams). They were definitely stoked on winning the top awards in both comps!!

Before we knew it .. Christmas was right around the corner and we hadn't even STARTED getting ready. So off shopping we went! I couldn't believe it when we were able to get just about everything we needed in ONE Saturday!! Talk about speed shopping!! We were definitely exhausted by the time we got home that nite .. not sure if it was the shopping or fighting our way thru the crazed maniac Christmas shoppers UGGGH!!

Christmas came (and went) too quickly. We spent last weekend at my mom's and had a great Christmas there Saturday .. it just went too fast! Then came home and had Christmas at my dad's Monday evening with "chicken stars" for dinner LOL The kids painted and baked cookies ... and then the games began. After "cards" and "dirty santa" ... there was the "lifesaver" game. This one I wish we had on video!! oh wait .. maybe I'm glad we don't. We split up into 2 teams, the guys and girls, each had a toothpick (yes, in our mouths), and had a relay race passing the lifesaver between us from toothpick to toothpick! The guys won, of course, cause us girls couldn't stop laughing long enough to pass the toothpick to the other player without jabbing each other or dropping the lifesaver.

Finally, it was time for OUR Christmas which we did Tuesday evening. We had told the kids that we were going to wait until Thursday after lunch and they were definitely NOT HAPPY. The negotiations began immediately, and took them awhile to realize they weren't in a position to negotiate. Finally we told them that we were doing it then and the bouncing and present hunt began! By the time it was over .. the house looked like a wrapping paper bomb had been set off inside the house. The trash men did NOT like us this morning.

I guess thats about all of it. Everything else has been the not so fun stuff .. work, school, etc.

Now it's time to plan for our road trip in February to Utah!! It's only a little over a month away!!

I know you are Jealous

So I just wanted to put my first two cents on the FergaWilly blog. It seems that Metallica is coming to town and we are going to see them!!! Its going to be such a sweet show!! This is going to be Chloe and Avry's first concert. Avry is pretty stoked. Chloe isnt so sure about it but once we get there I know she will have a blast. As is customary before any major concert, we have been rocking out to nothing but Metallica all week. 

The FergaWilly's

Hello everyone! We've finally stepped into blogworld to keep you all updated on what's happening with the FergaWilly gang!

We'll try to catch you up a little bit .. it's been completely hectic since school started .. actually since July 1 for Kaylyn and I but hopefully things will start slowing down some after this weekend (it's the last comp and it's going to suck ... we have to be in Benton, AR by 9.30 in the morning which is about a 3 hour drive uggggh!)

The summer was AWESOME and we're all sad to see it go for another year. Between Kaylyn's cheer practices and Chase's wakeboarding competitions the weekends were full. When we weren't at comps and practices, we lived at the lake. Everyone stepped it up this year and showed off their skillz (except the girlz, they were "bored" until we got the tube out LOL)

Practices paid off though, Chase did awesome at the comps and stepped up and competed in expert. Kaylyn's cheer team took first in their division in state and grand champion (highest score over all the junior high teams) .. we'll get their vids out later so you can check them out!

Halloween was totally kewl! We set up a "haunted yard" which was a hit! We heard people were talking about it all over the street!! We had probably 100 - 150 people come through. We had some brave little girls that walked through and loved it, and we had some teen boyz who ran out crying - it was hilarious!! (no, we didn't go easy on the girlz!)

Chloe made the basketball team last week and will start showing off her bball skillz in a couple of weeks! We can't wait to watch her play!! She went today and got her braces on, I'm sure she'll have some pics on her myspace soon .. go check her out!

Avry is adjusting to middle school, he likes it except he says it's not as much fun as elementary, not as easy to work on his social skillz ;)

Garrett is doing great too! He's still living and working in Roland (back to Oklahoma..yessss!) We don't get to see him as much and miss him, it's been an adjustment not getting to see his mischievious smile everyday.

Oh yea! Guess what?? We're going to see METALLICA Saturday night FINALLY!! I can't wait .. it's going to be a totally awesome concert!!
